How exciting!! There's still a week to go, but for several days now we've been feeling a certain nervousness because the date is approaching for one of the events that holds a special place in our scale modeler's heart, and which has been a must-attend event for eight years now!!

At the Nuremberg Toy Fair, we were told that Italeri would be reissuing several trucks during 2026, but the big surprise is that they're ALREADY available... Why is it a surprise? Because Italeri's product availability and launch schedules are usually separated in time, sometimes even infinitely... So we were delighted to receive the news, and we can confirm that next week half a dozen reeditions of classic Italeri trucks will be available again on SpotModel shelves. :)

It's been a long, long time since Tameo delighted us with a 1/24 scale model, right? Well, a few weeks ago they announced the release of the Ferrari 312T, a beautiful twelve-cylinder machine with which Lauda won the 1975 Italian F1 Grand Prix, in addition to being crowned World Champion for the first time.

Nuremberg International Toy Fair 2026

The new scale modeling year begins with the now classic Nuremberg International Toy Fair, which is currently underway, where major manufacturers are showcasing their new products for 2026. And this year's edition is proving to be truly prolific in terms of new releases, including some surprises, according to SpotModel staff covering the event.

More Beta Montecarlo Turbo

Shortly before Christmas, we told you that Heller was releasing the reedition of Esci's veteran Lancia Beta Montecarlo model kit, and we are already receiving the first super products to further improve the scale model: the BBS and Ronal rims by Reji, the first of the Decalcas decorations with Martini advertising, or the imminent arrival of the Komakai volume loaded with photographs from all angles and corners of the car.

Winter

It's cold outside, the rain is falling on the windows, and the sky is gray, giving the "outside world" an absolutely wintry feel. With this scene, we can only wish for one thing: to be warm and cozy at home building models!!! :D
